This deception is probably about the size.

Theropods, most of the awesome predators we know, and ancestors to the modern avians, are kinda intermediary blueprint from nature tinkering towards true flight.

I find a 350 Km/h diving peregrine falcon capable to lock on targets up to 3 kilometers away (which it can be flown in less than 30 seconds) way cooler than knob turning velociraptors bullshit.

Don’t get me wrong, I love the movie and all. But in reality, the flying stealth lightning hunter is more awesome.
